Citizen Comment: March 7th, 2023

To Whom it May concern,

I do wish I could attend the meeting in person this morning, but will be doing my best to listen online. I support the concept of morning meetings, but believe you should also include an evening meeting as well. Perhaps having to give more time to issues and creating more excuses for ‘Town hall’ meetings, would be a positive step in helping encourage more voices and perspectives at the table.

Despite all of the time and hard work of some, the STR Ordinances only represent a small perspective that does not support the fervor of those who want to ‘save’ our neighborhoods. I hope that any conclusions drawn from the TASK force be filtered through the knowledge that, these issues were fostered by our leaders. The creative ideas and necessary actions needed to maintain a high quality of life for our citizens, should be focused on increasing financial/property holdings, parks, creeks, water and education to ALL, not just those who can afford to continue to support the ‘status quo.’

I look forward to continuing to try and be a part of thoughtful solutions, with results.
