Lines of Discussion:

Higher wages for teachers all around. Evaluate teacher salaries by experience, work load, student population and an individuals established value, not by uniform codes and standards. Administration is important for the success of any school, but the higher salaries should skew more toward the teachers, who typically work longer hours and are more directly connected with the students everyday needs.

More parks and pedestrian access to Fredericksburg is essential for continued growth and enhancement of our towns beauty and overall ‘traffic’ problems.

We need to highlight our creeks and waterways, instead of hiding them amongst trash and debris. How can we prioritize and gain the support of our local land owners to support such initiatives without losing their security and privacy, while also increasing the value of their investment?

How many of our school children would feel safe riding a bicycle to class? How do we educate and model a stronger community effort to endorse and support safer and better marked roads for the ever present cycling community?

Solution Ideas:

Higher wages for our teachers!
